Current Stock:
  • Atlantic - Holder of the Longest-Standing Speed Record
  • Includes a stand.
  • Size 80cm / 31.5"
  • The rig will need assembly upon delivery.

During her sea trials in 1903 Atlantic achieved a speed of twenty knots. Here was a schooner with serious race-winning potential.

Two years later, she proved it by sailing 3006 miles from Sandy Hook on the Eastern Seaboard to The Lizard in Cornwall to win the Kaiser's Cup. And in the process set a speed record that would stand for an unprecedented 93 years.

Although no longer in existence, the memory of the Atlantic lives on in this elegant model. 32" in length, she's a plank on plank construction and finely detailed from her rigging and ratlines to her real canvas sails.

The deck is uncluttered as befits a racing yacht and her sleek, slippery shape and low profile give more than a hint of her legendary speed. Mast and sails come flat packed. Simple assembly to erect them required.
