The French style is the only flat anchor with a shank designed with a non-fouling shank, thus preventing the anchor from breaking away. It bites into the seabed almost instantly. Constructed from high resistance galvanised steel, this anchor doesn't feature a large crown which prevents potential fouling.

To be used in conjunction with Chain (Minimum 2m ) and Rope at least 5 x the depth you intend to moor in.

In exposed locations all chain would be more suitable both in holding power and from a wear point of view over the bow roller or stem head fitting.

Boat sizes are only to be used as a guide spends on the weight of the boat, length of rope/chain and the conditions.
The purchaser is responsible for choosing the correct product for its particular application. These goods should not be used for over head lifting unless specified.
